Scenario Information:

I have used the Tail Airs in many situations over the past year, both at home and on the the road. Utilizing both the HDMI, Wifi, and NDI capabilities of these cameras, I’m able to place them anywhere in my home office or throughout the house and send a feed back to my main PC where OBS Studio is located. I have curated scenes with multiple OBSBOT sources configured, which allows me to swap between cameras or groups of cameras with hotkeys of Elgato Stream Decks. I have also taken these cameras on trips with me to document endeavors, utilizing the SD card recording for the data and connecting the cameras to a simple USB-C charging brick for power. The bluetooth capabilities allow me to change and set different camera seeings to tweak the image to my liking.

Feedback:

My over usage with the Tail Air’s have been very positive. They are extremely versatile, and having the option to switch between many recording options depending on the scenario I’m in makes this camera a true swiss army knife.

Why choose the Tail Air?

The Tail Air is a great choice if the environment requires flexibility and stability. The PTZ control paired with mobile app access for management means you don’t have to be super stingy about how and where these cameras are installed. You can change all the settings from your phone, and if you have a shot or an angle that you don’t like, simply change the angle in the app or with the remote. The OBSBOT apps for iOS are very easy to use and make multi camera management a breeze.
